I'll admit when I started watching "One Tree Hill," I didn't like Brooke Davis. She was a villain when the show started. But by the end of the series, I grew to admire her. Here are some reasons why Brooke Davis is one of my favorite characters from the show:
One reason why I admire Brooke is because she was always honest and about what she wanted.
"Someone once said, it's the good girls who keep diaries. The bad girls never have the time. Me? I just wanna live a life I'm gonna remember. Even if I don't write it down." - Brooke Davis
It's OK to be in a different place than your friends and to "stand still."
We felt for her every time she was vulnerable and poured her heart out to Lucas and when he didn't feel the same way about Brooke.

She always stuck by Peyton after she still had feelings for Lucas.
It's not about being labeled by others but how you conquer them.
Life is about evolving and changing and discovering who you really are
"And once you lose yourself you have two choices: Find the person you used to be or lose that person completely." - Brooke Davis
"As a person, I was pretty lost. But in the past four years, I've been forced to grow up. I stopped letting boys define me and I started to believe in myself and in my potential and somewhere along the way, that lost little party girl finally grew up." - Brooke Davis
She was the friend who everyone turned to for advice.
She had to grow up on her own and faced many hardships on her own and this made her a strong character.
She gave us great advice that time goes by fast and you should always take a moment to tell someone how you feel.

"If you had a friend that you knew you'd never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don't wait. Nothing lasts forever." - Brooke Davis
When she didn't believe in herself, other people saw something great within her and at the end of season four, we saw that she had changed and we loved the person she became.
"She was fiercely, independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant and beautiful and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday. I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott
She never settled for what she wanted in life.
At the end of the series, I grew to admire Brooke because she changed so much over the course of nine years and she became someone I look up to because she changed so much and became a better person who we all should admire.
