You've paid your tuition, rent/housing, fees and all the necessary supplies and decor to make your place look awesome. And let's not forget that soon you'll be buying books for classes; in other words, you're bank account is entering the one digit zone.

Living on a college budget is hard, so here are a few places where you can get a good meal for an even better price!

1. Texas State University Dining

If you have a meal plan, please use it. Seriously, you paid good money for that! If you don't have a meal plan, food on campus is still pretty cheap.

2. Donut 911

This delicious food truck on N. Guadalupe has gourmet donuts that will fill you up and satisfy you! They also have kolaches, cinnamon rolls, chicken tenders, burgers, bagels and much more all for cheap!

3. The Hitch

Speaking of food trucks, The Hitch offers a wide variety of foods at its mobile eatery park. For filling and cheap food, I recommend you go to The Patty Wagon, The Big Kahuna and Smoked Out.

4. Grin's Restaurant

They have specials every day, accept Bobcat Bucks, a $10.99 "Student Steak Special" and the food is great!

5. Taco Bell

It's not the most nutritious choice, but you can get some really good food here for cheap!

6. Gil's Broiler

These are some of the best burgers I've ever had, and they're so cheap and filling! Plus the Manske Rolls here are legendary, delicious, and cost less than $2.00!

Next time you want to grab a bite to eat but don't want to sell a kidney to get a taco, try one of these places!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
