Since Pokémon Go came out I have been addicted. I always have my phone out while I am walking around town or in the car going somewhere. At first, walking around my hometown would lead to many new Pokémon being found. Lately, I have been finding the same few Pokémon, which caused me to begin exploring other areas. Here are some spawn sites on Long Island I found myself, and have heard about:

1. Flushing Meadow Park, Queens

This one I heard about on Facebook in a Pokémon Go group. More than one person posted about how this park is a Charmander spawn site.

2. Tappen Beach, Sea Cliff

This beach is where I have found every single one of my Dratinis. They don't pop up as often as the rest, however they are there.

3. Glen Cove Country Club, Roslyn

Since my boyfriend works here, I would often come and visit the country club. Every single time I would visit I would end up leaving with a bunch of Mankeys.

4. Nassau County Museum of Art, Roslyn.

This museum has a ton of Pokéstops which led me to explore it. While driving around at least 5 Poliwag's spawned. This is an awesome spot to visit because there are multiple gyms, Pokéstops, and Poliwags

5. Long Beach

My friends and I took a trip to Long Beach to walk on the boardwalk. While in Long Beach we found that the entire town is crawling with Magnemites and Voltorbs, specifically the streets close to the boardwalk.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
