When you’ve had a bad day, it’s okay to say so.

It’s okay to want to rant to everybody you know about it. You may want to call your best friend, text your mom, even talk to your grandma. The point is that you may want to talk to anyone at all about how you feel.

Or you may be the complete opposite. When you’ve had a bad day, you may want to shut out. You may want to lock yourself in your room and cry all day. You probably won’t want to talk to anyone at all about who you feel.

When you’ve had a bad day, it is okay to have whatever reaction you’re having as long as you react to how you feel. As long as you go through your feelings and realize that you’re human, it’s okay to have a bad day. It’s okay to be sad. Being sad is normal in life. You go through up and downs in your life. It’s just going to happen no matter what.

When you’ve had a bad day, remember that you’re a little stronger now. You went through something that changed how you feel, changed who you are, changed your life. If you can get through what you went, you can get through anything. Even if it’s the smallest event ever. No matter what happens, you’re always going to be strong about it and get through it. You pick up the pieces each time and make each day a better day. You’ll be a little better tomorrow if you’ve had a bad day today.

When you’ve had a bad day, remember it’s just one day. It’s just one bad day, not a bad life. Not every day of your life is going to be like that one bad day. You’re going to have so much better days that every time you think about those, you’re going to smile a little bit. You’re going to think about the happiness you were feeling, you’ll forget what it’s like to be sad. It’s just one bad day. Twenty-four hours that you will feel full of sadness or anger. But then you get through it because it’s just twenty-four hours.

When you’ve had a bad day, remember that it’s part of life. It’s part of the path you’re going through, and it might teach you something about life. It’s not going to be easy. You will come across many obstacles in your life, and you might want to cry when you do. But it’s what happens. You can try to avoid them as much as you want, but they are going to happen at one point or another. What matters is what you do after and with yourself. You can keep going because that’s life.

You’re not alone in how you’re feeling. You can talk to anyone because I promise you that someone loves you. They love you, and they will be there for you on your bad days. Life is tough, but you are tougher. You can get through anything, especially when you’ve had one bad day.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
