Being sick is the absolute worse and it does not get any better in college. You have to make important decisions about what to do. Will you skip class or go and risk getting all of your classmates sick? Here are 7 things you should do when you get sick in college.

1. Go to the doctor.

This is an obvious one, but sometimes it does not hurt to say it.

2. Do not go to class if you are contagious.

I promise it will not hurt you to miss a day of classes. Please, do not share your sickness with others.

3. Get some rest.

Your body needs to rest, so do some resting.

4. Email your professors.

Tell your professors what is going on. They will understand and will help you when you come back to class.

5.  Eat.

When we are sick, eating is the last thing we want to do, but we have to.

6. Get medicine.

Go get what you need to help you feel better.

7. Avoid getting sick if you can.

Do everything you can to not get sick at all.

Getting sick is not fun, but these tips can make it easier. Stay healthy!

Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
