Everybody has an idol. Whether this idol is famous or a person in your life. An idol is someone to look up to and that you have the upmost respect for.
My idol is one that some may know as Rachel Berry on Glee or as herself Lea Michele. Ever since high school I have loved her. There was something about her that brought me to watch Glee every week. Her incredible voice made me envious of her every time she opened it. It was my senior year in high school when the first person ever told me that I looked like Lea Michele. From that moment on it became my favorite compliment, and every time I hear it I think to myself if only I had her voice.
I have been a fan of her for years, and have learned that though I don't know her personally, she is one of the strongest women ever. She has dealt with the worst pain a person could possibly deal with, and has changed her life for the better. It's important to find someone to give you inspiration, Lea Michele gives me that inspiration.
A woman of many talents, a star on Broadway and a woman born in my favorite city in the world. She is a beautiful soul inside and out. I am lucky to view her as my idol.
