Blair and Serena: best friends and the queens of the Upper East Side in the TV show "Gossip Girl." Ok, so maybe your lives aren't as glamorous as Blair and Serena's lives. Maybe one of you isn't blonde. Maybe you don't stab each other in the back every five seconds, but you have that great Blair and Serena on a good day kind of friendship. The kind of friendship where it is totally acceptable to pretend like you are the small town version of the Manhattan elite. When you find the Blair to your Serena, you know a few things to be true.
1. No one gives better advice.
Whether it's life, boys or family, you can count on her to give the best advice. With any problem, you contact her first.
2. You can be completely honest with each other.
You tell each other everything. You are not afraid to tell each other how you really feel. She's one person you can always count on to be honest with you.
3. You have known each other forever.
You have known each other since the preschool days. Sure, you've lost touch a few times in between, but you always find your way back. You are practically family. Their family is yours and your family is theirs.
4. You are each other's biggest cheerleader.
When good news comes around, it is cause for a celebration. Whether you got good grades or you finished a performance, you are always there to congratulate each other.
5. You love shopping together.
Maybe you aren't shopping at the glamorous places that Blair and Serena shop, but you two are always ready for a good shopping trip. You try on different outfits, laugh and vent about anything that is bothering you.
6. You have been together during the darkest days.
There have been some of the dark days, but you have always been there for each other to lean on. Your goal is to make each other smile again.
7. You bring out each other's inner crazy.
When you two are together, your mouths never stop moving. You laugh like crazy, talk like crazy, and dance like crazy. You are totally yourself when you are with her.

No matter how long you have been apart, you are able to pick up where you left off. You are always excited to see her.

You both agree that the best part of prom was getting dressed up and taking pictures. Whenever you get even the slightest bit dressed up, you need to take a picture to document it.

You two constantly talk and keep each other up to date on everything. Every piece of information you hear, you share with her.

When you find the Blair to your Serena, you find a lifelong friend. You find someone you know you can count on for the rest of your life. If you found your Blair, you are one of the lucky ones. I am fortunate enough to have found mine.
