When A Man Wears A Suit

When A Man Wears A Suit

Let’s face it. There is nothing more attractive than a well-dressed man. A nice suit and some dress shoes will go a long way if a man is willing to put in a little extra work every morning when he gets ready for the day.

Women love a man that can dress himself nicely. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t expect guys to wear suits every day, but it is a refreshing change of pace to see a man rocking the heck out of a button down and some trousers. It can take him from "average looking at best" to "now we’re talking" in the mind of any woman out there.

When a man decides to bust out the old suit and tie, there is a set of certain thoughts that every woman has when she sees him.

1. I wonder what he does for a living.

I mean, he obviously is in a profession that requires him to wear a suit. Nobody just wears a suit for no reason. Unless he values his appearance and does actually wear it just because he can. I hope my future husband does that… I bet this guy makes a lot of money. He looks so professional and put together. I should probably focus harder on my career.

2. What color is his tie?

Okay. It’s a nice navy color with a light sheen. I can deal with that. I don’t get it when guys wear salmon or lime green ties. Who told them that it looked good? Who would betray them like that?

3. What kind of shoes is he wearing?

Nothing ruins a good suit ensemble more than the wrong shoes. I can't help but cringe when the outfit is flawless and the shoes are sneakers or slip ons. It is impossible for a man to be considered well-dressed if his shoes are in poor taste.

4. He looks so good.

He knows he looks good, too. He is so confident and well groomed. I bet he knows that everyone is staring at him. But his pants are just tight enough that he can’t actually expect me to not look, though. Oh dang. His sleeves are rolled up. This is how I die.

5. Do you think he has a girlfriend?

I don’t see a ring. But does he have a girlfriend? There’s no way that he doesn’t. He’s too attractive and obviously successful to not have a girlfriend. Or boyfriend. He is a little too well-dressed to be getting frozen yogurt. Do I even stand a chance with this guy?

6. I should start dressing nicer.

If this guy can wear that every day then I can brush my hair and put on normal clothing at least a few times a week. I feel so inadequate standing near him when he looks so sharp and put together. Did I even brush my teeth this morning?

7. I should say something to him.

I should compliment his outfit or something. We all know that isn’t going to happen, though.

8. I wish he would throw his suit jacket over his shoulder.

Why is it so attractive when guys pose with their jacket leisurely tossed over one shoulder? It’s straight out of a Ralph Lauren ad and I love it. Maybe if I wait around long enough he will get hot and have to take off his jacket and I'll get to see him do it.

9. I think I'm in love.

I haven't officially met him yet, but I think I love him. He is beautiful and perfect in every way. I would marry him in a heartbeat if he would just look my way. I hope he looks this good in his tux for our wedding.

Women love a man in a suit. If they would all realize this then they could collectively satisfy the majority of the population by just by dressing nice. So fellas, next time you're looking to impress a lady, just break out the old suit and tie. I guarantee you will turn a few heads if you wear it with confidence... and the right shoes.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
