My mom is caring, beautiful, kind, strong, understanding, loving, cool, and helpful; the list could go on and on. She is an amazing woman and someone I strive to be like each and everyday. She never ceases to amaze me and truly is the worlds greatest.
My mom plays many roles in my life; Pi Phi sister, teacher and role model. Most importantly she is my best friend.
She has showered me in her love and taught me how to love. She has cared for me and taught me how to care for others. She has been patient with me and taught me that sometimes things are worth the wait.
I want to thank her for being my biggest supporter and for being along my side every step of the way, even when I didn't know where we are going. She has done so many things for me that I have lost count, and she has done it all without hesitation. Never once has she complained.
I want to thank her for loving me each and every single day. I know that sometimes it can be hard when we fight or disagree, but even in those times we never stop loving one another. I know that when I make mistakes, she gets confused because she raised a better daughter than that, but even then she manages to love me.
She has encouraged me to challenge myself and strive to be the best person I can possibly be. She makes it easier for me to take risk, because I know that she will always be there to catch me if I fall along the way.
She has provided me what it takes to be a strong woman. She has given me many materialistic items such as a closet full of clothes, a bi-weekly trip to get our nails done and sometimes just a little extra cash.
Not only has she provide me with the materialistic things she has also given me things like faith and values. I want to thank her for disciplining me, because it has kept me on the straight and narrow. I need to thank her for instilling confidence in me and never letting me tear myself down.
Most of all I need to thank her for being my best friend and my partner in crime. I thank her for being there for me 100 percent of the time and always believing in me. I thank her for always being there to talk with me even if it is me just telling her a stupid story.
I thank her for the times we laugh so hard we cry, or cry so hard we laugh. I am so incredibly lucky to have someone like her in my life. When I grow up I aspire to be half the women, mother and friend you are! Thank you!
