"She's beauty, she's grace, she's Miss United States." Actually, she's your GG. Your Great Grand Big is your wiser, more experienced role model that can go to the bars. From the minute you were brought into your family, she took you under her wing and led you through your first year. While it seems so unfair that she cannot stay with you longer, here are the things that we want our GG's to remember as you become an alumna of our sorority.
Thank you. I wish that there were another way to say this because a simple "thank you" could never be enough. You have stood by my side through ups and downs, you have encouraged me to become the best person that I could be, and not to mention all the coffee runs you went on with me. There has never been a day that I haven't felt your love and support as I ventured through this crazy year.
You are my hero. It has been incredible having such a role model in this time of trials. You never failed me. You are the person that I want to be in three years. You walk with grace and dignity, and you inspire me and other younger members to become the type of women that our chapter would be proud of.
I will miss you. It doesn't seem real that you aren't a member of our chapter anymore. Know that I will miss walking in the house just to run and hug you. More importantly, I will miss sitting next to you at all the required events that we have to go to because you have kept me sane.
I love you. It has been one crazy ride this year. I could not have asked for anyone to act as my guiding light. I will never be able to tell you how much you mean to me.
Although I won't be seeing you at every chapter meeting, this is most definitely not the end. Thank you for all the memories this year, and I will be seeing you very soon. And I'll probably have coffee.
