To some, driving is one of the most anticipated milestones in your teenage life.

Driving equates to freedom. Unfortunately, I can not understand how to operate a car to save my life and I can’t go above a speed of 15 mph without being a high risk on the road.

So, here are 15 things you can relate to if driving is literally the bane of your existence.

1) The car simply does not go where you want it to go.

2) Reversing is a lot harder than it looks.

3) Parallel parking? I don't know her.

Yeah, I haven't even parallel parked yet. Enough said.

4) Am I the only one who gets heart palpitations as soon as I get behind the wheel?

Just me? Okay.

5) Driving on deserted roads vs. Seeing another car approaching

6) Turning a corner and hoping to all that is good and holy the car does not get scratched.

8) Why are my reflexes this slow?

9) You want me to drive where? To the next neighborhood? I am sorry that is way too out of my range.

10) Driving at 11 a.m. vs between the hours of 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

11) I would much rather be driven than drive.

12) Ohhh, I love that song! Too bad I can’t dance to it because if I do, I will surely crash.

13) Three point turn? I don’t know her either.

14) Why won’t the wheels turn where I want them to???

15) I can pass an AP test, write a research paper, and learn a semester’s worth of work in one night but I can’t do a skill that almost everyone on the planet can do.

Seriously, there are kids out here hijacking school buses and I can’t even drive my mom’s car.

I’m done. Thank God for Uber and parents.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
