When you date a brother you don’t only gain one great guy, but you gain a lot of others too. When my boyfriend first rushed Tau Kappa Epsilon, I was so excited for him, but I never thought that I would be as close to the brothers as I am now.

Throughout my boyfriend's pledge process, he gained an amazing group of brothers who taught him responsibility, time management, and respect. As the brothers came around more, I started to learn their names and see their friendly faces everywhere.

Frist of all, I want to thank each and every one of you. Thank you for being there, not only for my boyfriend but for me too. When I see you around campus, you always give me a smile and a hug, no matter where you’re going. You never fail to make me laugh each and every day. Thank you for giving me a place in the FOC whenever one of you see me sitting alone. Even though I’m probably supposed to be doing homework, you always invite me to come down in the pit to sit with you. My favorite FOC meals are spent with you guys and the conversation is always interesting, but I wouldn't expect anything less than that around you guys.

Thank you for all of the advice and help you have given me. If I ever need advice on something, or if I need help with my homework you guys are there. I feel comfortable asking you for help, and you never turn me away. I can always count on you whenever I need you, and I can never thank you enough for that.

Most of all, thank you for accepting me. You never question why I’m always hanging with you guys, and you always laugh at the crazy things I do. You accept that fact that I'm around 99% of the time, and you always make me feel welcome whenever I am hanging out with you guys. I love each and every one of you so much. You make my life better, and you make me smile more and more every day.

Thank you for being there for my boyfriend and for being there for me too. You guys have taught him so much and I love the bond that you all share. You guys have a true brotherhood, and you are all some of the best guys I have ever met.
