Before I started watching this show on Netflix, I never really understood what all the hype was about "One Tree Hill." This show aired from 2003-2012 for nine whole seasons, and is of course now a popular choice on Netflix. The website IMDb.com says that this series "follows the eventful lives of some high-school kids in Tree Hill, a small but not too quiet town in North Carolina, where the greatest source of pride is the high school basketball team, the Ravens, since living memory coached by old Whitey Durham." To me, this description does not do the series justice in any way. It seems to make it sound like just another cliche high school teen drama series, but it is so much more than that.

One of the best aspects of this show are the many different relationships that are formed. The best friend duos, couples, and family relationships are extremely complex and realistic. Some of these relationships are positive and some are negative. That is exactly what will keep you coming back to watch more.

Seriously, you really cannot say that Nathan and Haley are not the cutest couple to ever exist.

Also, there are so many unexpected and crazy events in this show that will make it hard to turn Netflix off. These crazy and dramatic events really make the show better. If you think this is just a happy-go-lucky show with no twists, you are most definitely wrong. I obviously will not give any of these things away though.

"One Tree Hill" is also known for having so many quotes said that are worth remembering. Many times, you can even relate the quote to what is happening in your own life at the moment. Whether it is Lucas quoting an old famous author's book, or Jamie Scott giving some very wise advice for such a young boy, there are so many times you will think about how perfect it is what they said at that specific moment.

Brooke always seems to have the best advice and give the best pep talks.

Of course, Jamie always knows how to melt the hearts of all the viewers.

This is one of those shows that you will fall in love with the characters, and will never want the series to end. When that happens, you know it was worth watching. So basically, if you are thinking of start One Tree Hill, please do not hesitate to begin watching right away, because you will not regret it at all.
