What Your Love Live! Best Girl Says About You

Love Live is the most serious anime I have ever watched. It changed my life. I joined choir, I went for walks, I spent my google survey rewards on love gems. I started watching more idol shows. My youtube preferences are now full of cute anime girls singing.

How does a best girl reveal the corners of your soul? All of the dark places you may be afraid to look deep down into? Read on, and discover who you truly are:

Kotori Minami

Kotori lovers are innocent, gentle lambs. If Kotori is your best girl, you are easygoing and value friendship. You are the kind of person who can walk into a Goodwill and walk out with several ridiculously fashionable outfits. Tea drinking, bird watching, and nature walks are part of your daily lifestyle. You are a blessing to the world.

Umi Sonoda

Do you like rule-following? Freaking out? Have you never been grounded before? Are you a sensible human being in the face of nonsense? If Umi is your best girl, you probably make a 4.0 and don't think it's a big deal. You wonder how people manage to get B’s, have sick days, or forget to take their garbage out. (Also, you like to shoot things.)

Honoka Kousaka

You are the main character of an anime. I don’t care if you live in real life, if Honoka is your favorite, you are probably a part of a fun slice of life anime, with elements of sports. You may like ducks. Honking ducks, even. You are a little duck of sunshine and positivity, and no one will ever get you down.

Maki Nishikino

You hate yourself. Either because you like tsundere or because you’re kind of shy and standoffish yourself. You listen to music to drown out your eternal sorrows. No one understands you. ):

Hanayo Koizumi

You own a rice cooker. That rice cooker broke from too much use, so you bought a new rice cooker. Carbs are your favorite way to party and I can respect that. You want to protect your rice, and you are probably a good person.

Rin Hoshizora

You are a furry. You still make “XD” faces. When you go to Wal-Mart, you buy a few boxes of pocky. Not the good pocky, the crappy cardboard tasting stuff. You either don’t know any better or genuinely like the stuff. Energy bounds off you making your loved ones wonder just how many energy drinks you’ve had that day.

Nico Yazawa

You are either a wonderful human being or a creepy old guy. If you are a wonderful human being, you “nico-nico-nii” at opportune moments. Sometimes you steal food off other people’s trays, but they probably deserved it. You’re like a raccoon. A fierce, deadly, adorable raccoon. Some people may not like you, but that’s just because they don’t have an aura of an idol the way you do. You’re gonna be the best someday.

Nozomi Tojo

You are The Mom Friend. Not to be confused with Umi Lovers, (The Responsible Friend.) You take your ducklings with you, guiding them through bars and heartbreaks. You don’t stop the trainwrecks so much as guide the train to wreck as artfully and painlessly as possible.

Eli Ayase

Dark Souls is your favorite game and you really appreciate how difficult and challenging the game is. It’s just so hard, you know? You’ve got to be skilled to play it. Dark Souls is so rewarding when you finally get the mechanics down. They don’t make games like that anymore.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
