This summer, I needed a new Netflix show to binge watch, and per my sister's recommendation, I chose "Gilmore Girls" — and I am so glad I did. I am currently about to finish the series and am kinda in denial. I'm in denial about the impending end and in denial that I can't have Dean, Jess, or Logan. As I thought more about the golden trio, I thought about how different they were and how different fans have their favorite. Read further to figure out what your favorite of Rory's boyfriends says about you.
Dean
Dean was Rory's first love and everyone agrees that he is the epitome of the "best first boyfriend." He was sweet and caring. He was also attentive, but almost too attentive. I would say he was a little obsessed with Rory, at least until Jess came into the picture. If your favorite is Dean, you play it a little safe and are a people-pleaser. You like the boy-next-door type, which is right next to "Dean Forester" in the dictionary. You're traditional, patient and have a small-town vibe. You are a homebody and like to be comfortable.
Jess
Ahhh, Jess Mariano: so misunderstood, so beautiful. Jess was the boy who stole Rory's heart away from Dean and wow was I happy he did. Jess is a bad boy, so fans who pin Jess as their favorite are definitely attracted to the danger and mystery that Jess possesses. You're artsy and appreciate alone time. You enjoy good, intelligent, witty banter and brains. You're an old soul and people say you're mature for your age. You think you can change him, but in the end it's him who has to make the decision to change himself. Which hopefully, like Jess, he does.
Logan
Logan Huntzberger. What a name. He just sounds like a charmer, which he totally is. If you like Logan, you are confident because that's the only way you could handle his ego. You love adventure but can sometimes be a little too impulsive. You would accept his offer to dive off a cliff any day and you basically have "in omnia paratus" tattooed on your forehead. You're determined in every sense of the word. You are also very trusting — well, you'd have to be with a womanizer like Logan.
In the end, maybe none of these boys were ever truly good enough for Rory, but I guess we'll see what plays out in the Netflix revival.
