What You Meant To Me

A song of forgiveness and trying to turn back.

What You Meant To Me
Tiger Khokunthod

Here is a song I started writing 2 months ago. I figured I would share it because I was not in the same place I was 2 months ago. This was a different time. Different experiences, different emotions. But, I just hope that maybe you can resonate with this song too. Having regrets, and the idea of going back.

Somethings changed, it’s hard to say.

That life is more than a calming wave.

And singing songs about you and me,

is harder than it use to be.

If this is all of our time,

then I would press rewind.

If I could fix any mistakes that I made

would it change anything today?

Thank you for smiling each day.

Thank you for filling in the words I couldn’t say.

And this wasn’t what I thought it would be,

but heres to now and forever, and what you were to me.

Maybe it wasn’t right?

And maybe I was blind to the light?

Cause I’d rather lose myself

than losing you, too.

If this is all of our time,

then I would press rewind.

If I could fix any mistakes that I made

would it change anything today?

Thank you for laughing every day.

Thank you for filling in the words I wouldn’t say.

And this wasn’t what I thought it would be,

but heres to now and forever, and what you are to me.

Sorry for running away.

Sorry for leaving out the words I didn’t say.

And this wasn’t what I thought it would be,

but heres to now and forever, and what you meant to me.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
