The end of the holiday season can bring many mixed feelings. As a college student, it means starting a new semester, and a new chapter. Sometimes it may even mean you're going to commit to New Years resolutions. Here are the feelings every college student has when they realize winter break is almost over.
1. Despair
There was SO MUCH I was going to do. And I did -1000 of those things
2. Excitement
New year means new classes, new faces, and new profs to try to win over early.
3. Relief
The times of pretending you're happy to see all these random people are finally almost over.
4. Happiness
You get to see all your friends again and hopefully make new ones
5. Green
And when I mean green, I mean green with money. Over winter break you're not pulling a pay check in most likely because you can't work. That first check after break is oh so sweet.
6. Accepting
Something about doing nothing is so exhausting, and you're ready to get back on the train and finish out this year strong.
You were happy when it came, and don't lie that you're happy now it's over and you can get on with the school year. Until next year winter break
