I feel like everyone imagines what it is like to be the other gender at least once in their lives. You see how the other gender acts and talks, but you don't actually know what it is like to live it. So, at least for me, I think being a dude would be really interesting. To me, men are such unique creatures because they can take so many different forms. Even though I have only been able to analyze the nature of boys for about 19 years or so, I think I have a pretty good idea of what I would act like if I was a guy at least in this stage of my life.
So, let's start with appearance. Some guys just wear gym shorts all the time and other guys wear nothing but dress clothes or something along those lines. I would totally do both. Or just completely walk around with nothing but boxers on because I can! Sometimes I just want to walk around shirtless, but that is socially unacceptable and also against the law in most states for women. But, if I was a dude, I would do it all the time even if it wasn't the appropriate time or season. My kicks would also be pretty classy. Sperrys, KDs, and just polished dress shoes look so nice on men. Khakis, a polo, and Sperrys would be my outfit of choice. However, I would want to look sporty from time to time as well with some KDs, a cut off, and some Nike shorts.
Anyways there are some benefits to being a guy, such as peeing literally anywhere. Girls can too, but it is so much easier for guys to do it because they don't have to squat or use toilet paper. They also do not have periods, which is just a gift in itself. I understand that they have other masculine issues, but I honestly cannot comprehend what could be more disgusting, annoying, and painful than periods. Guys can also save a lot of money because they do not have to buy any makeup products, tampons, bras, or hair products. Additionally, it takes them no time to get ready. If I had class at 8am I would get up at 7:45am and I would still be on time because I wouldn't have to do anything.
Now, personality is also a crucial portion. I have met my fair share of guys who know how to act around women and treat them right, but I have also come in contact with guys who have no respect at all. If I was a man, I would treat women they way they were meant to be treated, not put on a pedestal, but to love and respect them. It sounds so simple, but some men do not understand how that works. Sometimes women can be crazy, I get it, but as a guy I would want to be considerate of how women can be even if it isn't the greatest.
