Trump's Plans For DACA Could End Entire Families

Trump talks about “having great love” for these folks with the same conviction as his love for Tiffany and Eric. Not the love for Ivanka and Donald Jr.

Trump's Plans For DACA Could End Entire Families

DACA.

The United States.

Birthplace of Bruce Springsteen.

Unfortunately, the United States is not the birthplace of some immigrants, and it may not be a safe haven for them if this gets repealed:

Barack Obama, the current president of the United States at that time, spoke out against some Make-A-Wish foundation president’s consideration of the repeal of DACA, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that Obama implemented in 2012. The program protects immigrants from ICE in case of deportation, under the guise that they will be lawfully-abiding citizens of the United States, just like you and I are. It also gives temporary work permits to these citizens. The program acts like the United States is a halfway house to all comers, and whatever oppression these immigrants face back home is like prison. This is what Trump had to say about DACA:

Uh, Trump. We are (and have been) doing it properly SINCE ITS INVOCATION! Knowing you, the way you would eternally fuck it all up is if the executive order for this is hastily thrown together at the last minute without any proper vetting or advisement from your top aides. Thank God you don’t have a history of quickly throwing together executive orders at the last minute, leaving proper authorities with no clue on how to enforce them!

The ending of DACA would send scores of immigrants, also known as ‘Dreamers,’ who have jobs, homes, and attend school here in America, out the door. Trump is considering rescinding this program for six months until Congress can pass legislation in order to replace it. Sounds awfully familiar, right? Well, it should:

The way you hear this thing talk in the third person, you’d think it’d be like your mother talking about herself in the third person when she wants you to do something.

“Mom would really like it if you would stop letting people into this country.”

Considering what Trump may do to citizens who are protected by DACA, the citizens should get in front of a camera, and say:

“Miguel would really appreciate it if you didn't ruin his life!”
