We all have that one thing that brings us a great amount of joy and most of our free time is dedicated to doing just that. From me like for many others that particular thing is Netflix. I have binge watch a lot of shows, and I'm always on the hunt for new ones to watch. Summer is the perfect time to relax and submerse yourself into a series. I have made a list of my favorite shows on Netflix, that are totally binge watch worthy.
1. Once Upon A Time (4 Seasons up on Netflix)
A magical twist on the most classic fairytales we grew up with, they show us what happens after the "Happily Ever After" we were told. This show will give you a different view on fairy tales; It's filled with magic, monsters and all of the characters we all know and love from our childhood.
2. Lost Girl (5 Seasons on Netflix)
This show is not for young kids, as it has a lot of mature content. The show is about a girl who finds out she is not human, but a succubus, who feeds on the sexual energy of humans. She and her kind are members of the Fae, creatures of legend, who walk among humans and feed off them in different ways. As she searches for the truth about where she came from, she vows to help those she meets along the way.
3. Salem (2 Seasons on Netflix)
For anyone who loves the fantastic play, "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller or is interested in the Salem Witch Trials you will get a kick out of this show. The show explored what fueled the town's infamous witch trials and uncovered the dark, supernatural truth that was hidden behind this shameful period in American history. In Salem, witches are real, but they are not who or what they seem. This show will take you on an emotional roller-coaster, and you will love every single moment of it.
4. Being Human (4 Seasons on Netflix)
This show is the American Version of a British show, and it's fantastic. It features a sexy Vamper, handsome werewolf, and a gorgeous ghost. The three roommates try to help one another navigate the complexities of living a double life.
5. The Returned (1 Season on Netflix)
Imagine the shock of a loved one coming back from the dead; This show is about a small town that is changed forever when people are coming back from the dead. Families are reunited, and the lives of those who were left behind are challenged on a physical and emotional level, as both positive and detrimental consequences accompany the undead's arrival.
6. Bates Motel (3 Seasons on Netflix)
This show is without a doubt creepy, but I promise you will love every minute of the show. The acting on this show is incredible. "Bates Motel" is one of those shows that will keep you at the edge of your seat every episode. "Bates Motel" is based on "Psycho" this chilling show takes the viewers inside Norma and Norman Bates world.
7. How to get away with murder (2 seasons on Netflix)
This show is full of plot twist and turns, if you want something different to watch with great acting and strong female characters this is the show for you. The show follows a fantastic cast led by Viola Davis, who plays Annalise, a criminal defense attorney and professor, who selects a group of students to assist with cases at her firm alongside her employees. Mysteries arise that test everyone's limits and reveal dark truths.
8. Psych (8 Seasons on Netflix)
"Psych" is incredibly hilarious. It's about Shawn Spencer, who thanks to his father, a former police officer, possesses incredible powers of observation as his father taught him to remember even the smallest details of his surroundings. When Shawn is accused of committing a crime that he solved, he convinces the cops that he's a psychic and with the reluctant help of best friend Gus, Shawn starts solving cases for an impressed police force. This show will not let you down.
9. Young & Hungry (3 season on Netflix)
One of the best romantic comedies on Netflix, the show, is about a food blogger who is trying to make a name for herself and a tech tycoon who is in need of a personal chef. He hires her, and it's love at first bite, well sort of. http://smellslikerock.net
