I'm sure articles from www.theodysseyonline.com are flooding your Facebook feeds. I'm sure you're running across them on Twitter, in your GroupMe conversations, maybe on Pinterest or StumbleUpon. And maybe you're wondering why it's such a big deal.

Why do all of these people write for Odyssey?

How do they get on a team?

Are these journalism majors?

Allow me to answer all of your questions:

People write for Odyssey because it's freaking awesome. It's a social media platform where you can publish absolutely whatever you want, and Odyssey will serve as a host to publish your work.

Hate Donald Trump? Love Donald Trump? Have a crush on Obama? Want to be Michelle?

YOU CAN WRITE ABOUT IT.

What's your favorite band? Food? Color?

What's an organization you want people to know about?

All of these are things you can write about.

How do they get on a team? Well, they request to join a community! It's super quick and VERY easy.

Journalism majors? Sure! But you don't have to be...you don't need any journalism experience at all!

You just simply have to have an idea. One that you want to write about. One that you want to share with the world.
