When a girl texts you, sometimes the meaning behind her words go very unclear to the other side of the conversation. It's important to have a little bit of an idea of what she really means while texting you. Below are twelve common texts a girl will send you, and what she really means behind it.
K
Alright, you’ve really done something. The infamous “K” stands for a few different things, but the most important takeaway is that you did something to piss her off and you should definitely fix it.
Lol
This one is right up there with the K’s, you did something and she wants you to know that she definitely doesn’t think it’s funny. At this point, she's either being rude or is just straight up mad.
LOL
Right there with the lowercase one, but she DEFINITELY doesn't think you’re being funny right now.
OK
This one pretty much means that she gives up, and is settling with the ok— whether she’s actually okay with it or not.
Okay…
Yeah, punctuation really matters with the word “okay.” Those three dots basically mean that she is either very confused in what you’re talking about or thinks the subject of the conversation is weird.
Whatever.
You may think that whatever is pretty self-explanatory, but think again. This one is basically her way of saying "screw you." This also means that she is upset with the current topic of conversation (or you) and wants to drop it. One or two things are good to take from this: one, don't drop it and apologize, or two, drop it. Your choice!
That’s cool
She really doesn’t think it's that cool. And if she does, she just isn’t interested in the subject or a conversation in general.
BUT if she throws a couple exclamation points in on the end, she probably does think whatever you’re talking about is cool!
That’s good
Her way of telling you to stop showing off or talking about yourself. It's clear that she is doing the bare minimum to keep the conversation going.
But, if she throws a couple exclamation points in on the end, she probably actually is amused and thinks whatever you’re talking about is “good.”
Haha
The simple “haha” basically just stands as an “I don’t know what else to talk about” cue. Either start up a new subject or just end the conversation.
Omg
This is pretty straight forward. Something unexpected, unfortunate or unbelievable happened.
I’ll let you know
This one could really go either way. One, she could actually be checking so she could let you know. Or two, she could just be sparing herself some time so she doesn’t have to let you know. It’s really 50/50 depending on the person.
:)
Any sort of smiley face just means that she likes talking to you! So if you get a smiley face, congratulations!
