What I Miss Most About My School Back Home

I was at dinner the other night with a few of my friends that came overseas with me. We somehow started talking about all the food back home that we miss. So here are just a few things I am missing:

1. The Food

I am not super unhappy with the food that we eat in the dining hall here but I do miss the amount of options we have at Western New England. And I am really missing buffalo sauce.

2. Western New England Cookie Day

If you have not had a chocolate chip cookie at Western New England, then you are not living.

3. The Campus in the Fall

Not going to lie, but when I see people posting pictures of campus at this time of year, I get a little envious. We really do have a beautiful campus.

4. The Gym

There is a gym we can use over here but it is so small that I really just do not care. I miss being able to use a lot of different machines back home.

5. My Friends/Roommates

It is sort of sad that they are all together back home without me. I miss them terribly. But at the same time, I am making new friends and going on many adventures!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
