It's that time of year again! Time for men to run to the store and get their girlfriend/ wife/ mom/ special lady chocolates and flowers and time for women to wonder what they should get the men in their lives. For me, I have one amazing man in my life who I will always be happy to spend my Valentine's Days with that has the best traits that I think every woman needs in a man this Valentine's Day.

My boyfriend has been there for me through more than I could name, from family issues to medical issues, school stresses to just life stresses, and all the happy moments I've had in between. Being someone who has had many medical tests, hospital stays, and questions of surgery over the past few years, the fact that he has always been by my side to not only be my mini therapist but also be the person to help cheer me up is the most amazing thing in the world.

He's also the guy "everyone wants to bring home to introduce to their family." My boyfriend is the sweetest and most respectable man you could imagine, without being a boring stick in the mud. He's so fun and can make anyone laugh with one of his many references to things like Spongebob or Family Guy as well as being able to talk about sports (specifically basketball) for HOURS. He can find a way to fit in with anyone.

He's a guy you can do anything with! Going to sporting events, concerts, amusement parks, and museums are amazing, but just simple nights getting pizza and laying inside cuddling are just as amazing. Being able to be myself around him is one of the reasons I love him so much.

Now, to my amazing boyfriend. Thank you for all you do for me. I know I always say it, but you have no idea what everything you do for me means. I love you so much and I would be lost without you. You're one of the most amazing things in my life and I'm so lucky to have you in my life. Happy Valentine's Day Kelpcake!
