My Littles are both so different, yet very much alike. They each have their quirks and their own personalities. Somehow, the two of them together have taught me more about myself than I ever expected. My Littles are Mackenzie and Raegan, and together, the three of us make quite the trio.
Mackenzie, my cat loving future-pilot is one of the most poised women I know. Never have I seen her act out on emotion, which is the exact opposite of myself. She has maturity beyond her years and I find that both endearing and admirable. She and I have experienced very similar loss, and through that, we have a kind of silent but mutual understanding of each other. Her love of cats creeps me out, but I still love her. Mackenzie has taught me to take things as they come, something I strive to do every day and for which she is my inspiration.
Raegan is also my Little…and I don’t quite know where to begin with this one. She is hilarious, insane, and beautiful (despite the fact she thinks she looks like a thumb). I admire Raegan for her ability to laugh at herself. She is truly, honestly one of those people who do not care what others think of her, and I wait for the day I can be just like her. Despite being silly and goofy, Raegan has the biggest heart in the world. She wouldn’t hurt a fly, and is incredibly compassionate.
My Littles have been a blessing to me, and continue to inspire me every day to be a better person. I consider them to be my own blood sisters, and look after them constantly. I love them with all my heart and am so proud to call them both mine.
