You have just finished your first year of college, and it has probably been amazing, exhausting, stressful and life changing. It has taught you a lot about yourself and given you so many memories to last a lifetime. Suddenly, you're driving your car, overflowing with suitcases and cardboard boxes packed with your things, and that's when it hits you, you're going home. You're leaving the friends that helped you through the hardest of times, ate an entire pint of ice cream with you when you failed a test, hugged you when you got a job, and even went on late night adventures with you even when sleep was more important. Here's what it's like to create friendships like that and then leave for a few months as told by "Friends."
1. When you meet each other for the first time and try to seem cool.

2. When you realize you're in the same class, club or dorm, and find something in common to talk about.

3. That moment when you realize they are just as weird as you are, you both choose to embrace it.

4. When you fail a test and go to each other for comfort.

5. When you just can't "college" anymore and go on an adventure in the middle of the night.

6. When it's suddenly finals, and you need moral support.

7. After your last final, they help you move out.

8. That's when you realize it's almost over, so you try to make yourselves feel better.

9. They sit on your couch with you, trying not to cry, as your RA checks you out of your dorm so that they can be there for the monumental official end of freshmen year.

10. You say goodbye for three months.

11. When you get home and pick up your phone to text them to go get lunch, and then realize they're not in the same town as you.

12. After the initial denial, you realize you have another three years to look forward to with your best friends.
