Have you ever watched a TV show, movie, listened to a band, read about a celebrity, seen a play, or read a book where you fall in love with the characters or people, to the point where you wish you could read more about them? Yeah, me too!

It all started when I watched a little TV show called "Sons of Anarchy"...

I watched all 7 seasons of the show and fell more and more in love with the characters and their story lines, and I wished I could read more about them and sort of imagine them in situations that weren't talked about on the show. So... I went to the one place I figured I might be able to find something: Tumblr.

Now: any fanboy or fangirl knows that this is the site to go to when you want to find stories on your favorite characters or people. And I can say that when I searched for some of my favorite "Sons" characters, I was not disappointed. I've not only been able to read some of the most amazing pieces I've ever read, but I've also had the privilege of getting to write some pieces too.

After reading many different fan fictions for a while, and requesting pieces from authors that may have been a bit complicated, I decided that I would bring my own ideas to light in stories I would write.

When I started, I didn't expect much of a response to my pieces, but the more I started to write, the more people began to like and share what I was writing, and ask me for pieces too! The feedback I was getting (and still get) was positive, and I couldn't wait to write more.

For the past year though, I haven't had the time to do any of that writing, and it breaks my heart. Now though, I have a bit more time on my hands and I can't wait to get back to doing what I love and bringing even more light and love to some of my favorite characters and celebrities!

To fanfic readers: don't let anyone make you feel like you're weird because you've become attached to characters or people. You can read all you want, and I hope you find something you truly enjoy! Also: be gentle on us writers. We get writers block kind of often when we get ideas from others because we want to put out the best product possible for you. Know that we have heard you, but we take a while to do it justice in our eyes, because we truly are our biggest critics.

To fellow fanfic writers: Keep up that good work! People love reading what you write! And on the rare occasion that you get someone who is rude or downright awful to you, brush it off and know that you are doing amazing work and you make so many people happy.

Happy reading and writing fangirls and fanboys!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
