I came into sorority life timid, looking like a deer in the headlights whenever someone would talk to me. Then I met you. I didn't know it at first, but you did. From the first conversation we had, you felt an instant connection and you knew you had to have me as your little. It may have taken me a while to figure it out, but the day of " Big, Little" reveal I could not have been more ecstatic when I saw it was you. You brought me into your family and showered me with unconditional love from the start. From that point on I knew I had a life long companion, the older sister I never had, my other half.
A relationship between a little and her big is one that only sorority girls can understand. She truly is your other half, whether it be someone exactly like you or your total opposite, she completes you. She's your go-to person, the Christina Yang to your Meredith Grey, you're the Stephanie to her D.J. Tanner. She encourages your bad decisions (unless they're actually terrible), she dries your eyes when you cry, and she listens to all your secrets and problems.
Big, I know that I'm not always good at showing my emotions, like how much I care about you. You mean the world to me, I've never had someone in my life quite like you. I may not tell you every day how much I appreciate everything you do for me, but I don't know what I would do without you in my life. It's crazy how someone can just come into your life and change it completely.
You only see the good in me, you have from the start. I'm not sure what I did to deserve someone as amazing as you. You're the person I look up to, you seem to excel at everything you do, and you somehow do it what seems effortless. You are able to manage every aspect of your life and juggle school, sorority life, work and somehow stay sane.
You deserve the world, Big. The things you do for me are incredible. You take time out of your busy day to make me cute little gifts to remind me how much you love me. You keep all my secrets and you share yours with me, you entrust me with the deepest secrets of your life. You put my happiness first and treat me like a real sister. The only difference between real sisters and a big and her little is that the universe makes you wait until you really need her before she comes into your life.
I could not imagine the world without you, Big, but frankly I don't want to. You make me smile every day and bring joy into my life. You love me for my strengths and accept me for my flaws. I wouldn't trade you for anything.
