Let’s face it, if you find yourself in a relationship with a stubborn girl, you’re forever stuck trying to figure her out. Us girls are persistent, and for that reason, we somehow always get what we want. All girls are stubborn and confusing of course, but here are a few signs that you’ve got a real headstrong girl on your hands.
1. She’ll never tell you when or why she’s upset.
Yes, girls often become upset or mad over anything and everything, but if you’re dating a stubborn girl it may be difficult to distinguish her emotions. When asking what’s the matter you’re most likely to receive an answer of “nothing”. Why do we act like nothings bothering us rather than just saying what’s on our minds? (Which most of the time is something small and stupid) Simply because were stubborn. We choose to hold in our feelings and let our guys sweat to figure out what is going on inside our heads. If you have a stubborn girlfriend, just accept that you’ll never truly know what us girls are thinking.
2. Simple questions turn into a puzzle.
A simple question such as, “where would you like to eat” turns into a guessing game. We always end up saying we don’t care, when in reality, we probably do. Many believe that girls just like to be difficult, but quite honestly I think we just don’t know what we want. Girls confuse guys, but they confuse themselves as well. While dating a stubborn girl, using open ended questions is risky. Of course, with time you will learn to know exactly what she wants and therefore can avoid asking all together.
3. She’ll never let you live anything down.
Whether you fucked up two years or two weeks ago, your girl will always be there to remind you of any mistake, big or small. Stubborn girls do not forget, and therefore, guys it is probably easier if you just don’t mess up (as if that’s even possible). The good news however, is that we forgive, and most of the time we are probably just doing it to annoy you.
4. She won’t stop until she gets what she wants.
I like to call this persistence. All girls, stubborn or not, always like to get their way. This applies to so many things, big or small. My advice to the boys out there would be to just let us girls win. Remember if your girl is happy, then you can be happy… Because face it if she isn’t, you’ll never hear the end of it.
Despite all these signs that you have a stubborn girl on your hands, us girls are not as crazy as you may think. Honestly, we are only the stubborn and confusing person we are because we are crazy about you. We probably will never change, and that’s okay. Because admit it, even though we may be a handful sometimes, you love us. So here’s to all the amazing guys out there that put up with us girls, because we know that were not easy.
