American Horror Story Season 6 Teaser

The creator's of American Horror Story thought it would be fun to change it up this season. Instead of knowing the central theme of Season 6 from the start, viewers have been put on a little sleuthing mission to find out what this season will be about. Alas, September 14, we found out what this season is about and some of us are still quite unsure what it is even about. Colonial garb? Pig heads? North Carolina? What could it be? After some researching, I've uncovered the truth and history of American Horror Story: Season 6.

In 1587, a group of colonists set sail to the "New World" in hopes of riches and other fantastic discoveries. Obviously, during that time, there were limited ways to communicate with family members and other colonies. The one who was behind this brilliant plan to colonize The Chesapeake Bay was Queen Elizabeth I. Of course, she had her right-hand man, Sir Walter Raleigh to organize the whole trip. Raleigh originally had over 100 colonists in the group to go and establish a colony on The Chesapeake Bay. But after a few months, Raleigh and his friend John White went to go and check up on the colony. When they arrived at their settlement, they found nothing of the colony except their bones which then gave the Roanoke Colony their infamous name "Tha Lost Colony."

Many theories have been thrown around starting from the colony being killed by Native Americans to the colony even being abducted by aliens.

So number one question is this: Why "The Lost Colony?" American Horror Story has played with a number of topics; witchcraft, haunted houses and hotels, serial killers, and even creepy clowns, so why not change it up a bit? The creators of American Horror Story are known for making the show creepy, sexual, and overall intriguing. Each season has an element that is unique and connects with our reality. However, don't be fooled. AHS will make "The Lost Colony" supernatural in some way.

Season 6 is by far one of the most anticipated seasons due to the fact that the creators have left us guessing left and right what the storyline is. The title of season 6 is "American Horror Story:Roanoke." If you're a history nerd like me, you will definitely enjoy this season and all it has to offer.

Sit back, enjoy and make sure to watch American Horror Story on FX each Wednesday at 10PM.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
