When the news of the "Gilmore Girls" reunion episodes came out, I was so excited. As I re-watched the entire series for the umpteenth time, I couldn’t help but think what I would like to see in the Netflix series.
1. Did Sookie and Jackson have a boy or a girl?
The series ended with Sookie pregnant with her third child, which is totally unfair. Did she have a boy? A girl? Was the girl named Colgate like Jackson wanted? So many questions.
2. Did Luke and Lorelai get married?
Are you even in the "Gilmore Girls" fandom if you don’t ship Luke and Lorelai? After seven seasons, I am fully invested in this relationship. They belong together. If the next four episodes ends with a cliffhanger like the series did, I don’t know how I’ll go on.
3. Who is Rory with?
Dean, Jess, or Logan? Maybe naked guy? Maybe someone new? Or is she possibly enjoying the single life while on the campaign trail with Obama? But honestly, I would love to see her with Jess. I mean he is the one who brought her out of that “Quitting Yale” slump. #TeamJess
4. How are they going to portray Richard’s absence?
When Ed Hermann died, I truly felt like I lost a member of my own family. He was a part of my life for years. I can’t wait to see how they honor him and I am already stocking up on tissues.
5. Did Sherry come back from France?
Although I am not a fan of Christopher, it is a given that he has to be in the new episodes. I low-key hope that Sherry came back and is being an actual mother to Gigi, also I hope that her and Chris worked things out so he does not ruin the perfect couple that is Lorelai and Luke
6. Did Kirk and Lulu get married?
Lulu was the rare gem that could actually tolerate Kirk and his many quirks (like his naked night terrors – gross!) To see them actually get married and have kids would make my heart swell with happiness.
7. What is Paris and Doyle’s relationship status?
Just like Kirk, Paris and Doyle have their quirks but together they are perfect. I hope that Paris became something big like maybe even President of the United States. Also, I hope they have a perfect little family like in that one dream Rory had where they lived in her house.
8. Is April less annoying?
April is one of the most loved or most hated characters. Gilmore fans disliked her due to the simple fact that she was annoying. But it may have also had something to do with the fact that she was the reason Luke and Lorelai broke up but we won’t get into that.
Although there are many other questions I have, and many other characters that I haven’t mentioned, but I would still love to see how they are doing, there is one question that has bugged me for a while and I would just like an answer…
9. Where is Mr. Kim?
He was mentioned in the beginning of the first season and that was it. Did he die? Did he leave? Did he go back to Korea to visit family? Where did he go?
