Are you losing your mind, or just impatient?

After placing an order online, have you ever found yourself slowly losing your sanity until your package arrives? If so, you may not be alone. Whether you ordered textbooks or jeans, time always seems to move at a glacial pace when you're waiting on a delivery.

Day 1: Order confirmed! The confirmation email says that I will receive another email when it ships. That shouldn't take too long.

Day 2: No shipping email yet. No need to worry, I'm sure there's a lot of other packages, with online shopping addictions and people who do early holiday shopping.

Day 3: HOW HAVE YOU STILL NOT SHIPPED? What if they forgot about my package? What if it's just sitting there, all alone...

Day 3.5: WOOOO! Your item has been shipped! Within 24 hours the tracking will be activated, blah blah blah: I just want to know where it is.

Day 4: Time to check the tracking on that package... WHAT?!? What do you mean it hasn't left the Post Office? How can you tell me that it's shipped if it's still sitting on a counter in Sheboygan?

Day 5: Okay, okay. Calm down, I'm sure that, five days after ordering, it is getting closer to my front door... HOW ARE YOU STILL SITTING IN THE POST OFFICE?!?!?!? Did I somehow offend the postal workers of Sheboygan?

Day 6: Alriiiiggghhht! Package has finally left the post office. You shall soon be mine!

Day 7: It's been a week since you took my money. I'd appreciate it if my purchases were actually in my possession.

Day 8: Don't panic. It's officially been over a week since you ordered. No big deal...

Day 9: I mean, it's not like I actually need it right away...

Day 9.5: YES I NEED IT. IF I DIDN'T, I WOULDN'T HAVE ORDERED IT.

Day 10: What if it never comes? How often do packages get lost in the mail? How do they even get lost? Who is stealing all of these missing packages?

Day 11: I spent too much money to not get this package. Will the company return my money if I tell them I never received anything? Will they send me another? What if they don't believe me? What if it's on some kind of black market for stolen online purchases?

Day 11.5: If there is a black market for stolen online purchases, how do you find it? Who buys these things? Is it a secret system completely run by the post office and online retailers?

Day 12: Take a deep breath. The package is about two hours away, it should be here tomorrow.

Day 12.5: Wait wait wait, two hours? How can it not be delivered today? It's been twelve hours since it "checked in"! How can a package just sit there for half a day when it's going somewhere only two hours away?

Day 13: THE PACKAGE IS IN MY TOWN! ARE THEY KEEPING IT HOSTAGE AT THE POST OFFICE? I should just go there and pick it up. LOL no, I don't want to put on pants.

Day 14: MINE AT LAST! I swear, I'm only going to buy things online if they're necessary from now on.

Day 14.5: Oh look! There's free shipping with any $50 purchase!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
