She's the person you know the best, but one of the hardest people to shop for. She goes above and beyond to get you the best gifts year after year and you always seem to struggle finding the perfect gift for her. If you're in need of a good idea for what to get your mom this Christmas look no further than this list!

1. Candles

They always smell nice and freshen up the room!

2. Scarfs/mittens/hats (winter accessories)

3. Mugs

4. Wine accessories (wine opener, wine stopper, wine tags)

They even come Christmas-themed!

5. Spa gift card

This is a win-win gift for mom because you can tell her that it's something the two of you can do together!

6. Sweaters

7. Wall Decor

8. Jewelry

Whether it's a simple Alex and Ani bracelet, a Pandora ring or a heart shaped necklace, moms love jewelry!

9. Perfume

10. Slippers

11. Purse or wallet

12. Sentimental gifts

Moms do not love anything more than a picture frame of you and your brother, or even a scrap book that you put together from your last family vacation together!

13. Fuzzy socks

14. Coffee/tea bags

15. Bath & Body Works necessities

Soaps, lotions, body sprays and air fresheners are all things that mother's can't ever have enough of.

16. Kitchen appliances (knife set, oven mitts, spoons)

17. Christmas ornaments

18. Gardening supplies

19. Sweets (if your mom has a sweet tooth)

You can never go wrong with some holiday-themed candy or cookies.

21. Snow globes (or other holiday decor)

22. Clothing

23. Cell phone case

24. Pajamas

25. Gift cards

Not as personal, but you know what stores your mom likes — and that she will use this gift card — best so this can always be a last resort solution!

Happy shopping and remember that you're shopping for your mom; she's going to automatically love anything that you get for her and appreciate the thought!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
