Brick
You like to channel your inner '90s, or you are the type of person who likes to people watch all the people from skybox as you look down on them. I love some bar stalking.
Every once in a while, you will leave your post from Skybox and join the sweaty mass on the dance floor, get tossed around, danced on, and having drinks spilled down the front of your shirt. Every time that stupid fog machine comes on, you regret your decision and crawl off the dance floor escaping the fog cloud that is probably not healthy to inhale.
New bar (The Woods)
You enjoy grinding to find your soulmate and you are probably an upperclassman hitting on the younger generation. You're probably looking to make out with someone tonight. New Bar at night is a literal rager, as it is impossible to hear what people are saying while music is blasting and lights flash like it's 1999 on meth. You do not care about the loud noise and flashing lights, and whenever you can't hear someone you just nod, pretend you heard, sip your Redskin and keep on dancing.
Exhibit A: The New Bar Dance Floor. The blurry picture says it all.
Oh and what's with the mirrors? Is it some sort of stalking mechanism? Or is it so you can look passionately into the eyes of the person dancing behind you as you grind to "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz?
Side bar
The bar of choice for most upperclassmen since there's a patio. (It's a nice patio. Everyone knows it.) RED BENCHES! WOO! An escape from the underclassman, this small, small bar makes it seem exclusive once you get in, probably because you are fighting for room to stand. You sometimes enjoy staring outside at the line going down the alley and say to your friends "we got here just in time".
Mac and Joes
You're one of many hungry people just looking to get a beer, watch TV and sit in some cool lighting. You're probably a super cool person. Or your the type of person who likes to take advantage of the cheap pitcher specials like I do.
Top Deck & Skippers
This is an underrated place if you ask me. You are probably looking to avoid big crowds. Most people don't immediately think of going to Top Deck and Skipper's because it's the least rowdy of most places. If you want to hang out, listen to music, and avoid crowds, you will probably be found here. THERE'S FOOD DOWNSTAIRS. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?
O Pub
You like to drink whole bottles of wine on Wednesdays. A classy place with live music. I don't have a picture from here, but from what I remember the bathrooms are very nice. A+ for that.
Pachinkos
You usually leave this place after losing a few things, but yet it keeps drawing you back even though you constantly leave feeling like you need to shower and burn your clothes.
I literally got rid of this shirt after being at Pachinkos. It was too far gone...
Decibal
I don't understand this fad. To me this is like drinking a pitcher of Redskins or a pitcher of Trashcans and that sounds downright foolish. I have been, and I saw more people out that night than I have ever seen in my life.
45
You come here for the pitchers.
The Hatch
You probably come here for the shots. I've only been here once, and so have you. You absolutely love to rage and probably have compared this bar to an EDM concert because of the black lights, and endless colors on the wall depicting the shots you know nothing about.
MIA/THREE TREES
So, the only time I have been to this fine establishment was for my formal, which was a BLASTY BLAST. Casual yet classy, I constantly hear my lovely friends talk about 'Tini Tuesday' which is a promotion the bar puts on, offering specials on martinis.
When I told my boyfriend about this phenomenon, and how I wanted to go, he looked at me and said, "Mary, do you know what a martini is? It is straight liquor. It is a bunch of liquor mixed up and put into a glass. Good luck."
My only deduction is that if you do go here (like I one day plan to) you and your group of friends are channelling your inner Carrie Bradshaw and Samantha Jones and being classy broads sipping your martinis thinking of the finer things in life.
But then you will go to Brick or New Bar and the glamorous lifestyle will disappear as quickly as it arrived.
Steinkellers
You didn't get to study abroad so you go here to pretend you're in Europe, or you did study abroad and you're trying to relive the glory days.
CJ's
You're chill, but a little rowdy. You love to party. You're using the 14 day club as an excuse to get drunk and get a free t-shirt. A fun place where you enjoy to socialize, because while there is music playing, it's not so loud that you cannot hear yourself speak.
