First of all, congratulations! For 1. making it through the crazy week called sorority recruitment, and 2. finding your new home! I know how overwhelming it can be at first. Honestly, it will probably be for the first month or so. There are countless new faces, new rules, and a completely packed calendar; but trust me, it will be worth it. You will be surrounded by amazing women who make you feel like you belong, and will make you feel comfortable no matter how creepy you feel during rituals.
The fact that you were willing to put yourself out there, out of your comfort zone and trust the crazy process called sorority recruitment is a huge deal in itself. You deserve the large hugs you were given on bid day.

So take the time to attend as many events as you can, get to know the women in your chapter, and truly make the most of being a part of your sorority. Don't be afraid to speak up, go to that event, get involved, or hang out with the girl who sits next to you every meeting. You matter, and your sisters will be by your side during your critical years, to boost you up and help you reach your highest potential.
Because being in a sorority isn't just four years, it truly is for life. You are bound to thousands of women across the country that wear the same letters as you. Of all races, and of all ages. You will proudly gush about your sorority and your sisters to your future children, and give back all that you can even after you graduate. You just have to trust me.
Welcome to the srat life, your journey begins here.
