1. "Normal” is not the word people use to describe you.
In fact, normal isn’t anywhere on the list. You like to be different, unique, special; you like to be YOU. Your friend may seem to pass for normal, but you tend to draw the crazy out of them.
2. And neither is “serious.”
Although you are able to handle serious conversations, if you are put in an uncomfortable situation, humor is your defense mechanism. Maybe they will not look so scary with a smile on their face ...
3. Puns and sarcasm tend to be your normal form of communication.
The cornier the better. Sometimes you wish you could just be a dad so you can get away with all the ‘dad jokes’. And, if it is not a pun spilling out of your mouth, it will probably be some kind of rude comment said completely out of love.
4. You have two moods; let’s sit and do nothing or I want to do EVERYTHING.
LET’S GO ON A ROAD TRIP RIGHT NOW! OR SKYDIVE! OR WRESTLE A BEAR! If the idea is not off the wall, it is not going to happen. You most likely have uttered sentences such as, “What do you mean now is not a good time to have a Nerf gun war? Its only 2 in the morning!” However, if the suggestion is to just going to some party in a week, you will probably say no. That could interfere with the Netflix show you want to binge watch…
5. WAY too opinionated.
Your friends love the fact that you will always have ideas and opinions … sometimes! No matter how small a thought, you find it to be important and SO worth sharing. If someone does not agree with your opinion, you kindly let them know why they are wrong.
6. Your loyalty is unmatched, but you hurt so much more when your loyalty ISN'T matched.
One of the best parts about you is how much good you see in others; however, you sometimes get taken advantage of because you are willing to bend backwards for those you care about. If you are not given the utmost loyalty from a best friend, it immediately feels like a betrayal.
7. Your intelligence may be ignored because you sometimes forget to think before your words spill out.
This could also be why no one takes you serious half the time, but you like seeing things from different points of views, you process thoughts, ideas, EVERYTHING out loud, and, because your mind goes everywhere at once, you could seem distant or oblivious. Your intelligence shines through often, you just have to get through the before and after bits of rambling. But, when you take over the world after finally mastering your mind, they will HAVE to have you seriously!
8. CAPS LOCK IS YOUR FAVORITE FONT.
Caps lock is not always a sign of being angry at that person (in fact, its usually done out of excitement) and THAT is what so many do not understand. “I am not shouting AT you, I am just shouting!” I cannot stress enough how important caps lock is to our vocabulary.
But, even if you are not always in the spotlight, you love being the weird friend who everyone loves.
