1. Those silly antler headbands that people wear

I can't even pretend to hate them, I think they're adorable.

2. The cat trying to climb the tree

This literally happens to us every year.

3. Fuzzy socks with various Christmas symbols

I don't own any, but maybe someday I will.

4. The hot chocolate

Ok, I get it. This one's a given.

5. Those strange cookies with the faces

I hope you know the ones I'm talking about because I can't find them ANYWHERE, literally not even on Google. I mean, seriously, where do people buy those things?

6. The ornaments with crazy stories about how they were obtained

Ask my brother about his macaroni ornament that he didn't make.

7. The stepping outside to see the first snow

Putting on whatever shoes are closest to the door and wrapping yourself in a random jacket or robe.

8. The ruined dinner

Whether it be burned ham or dogs eating your turkey, you can always count on your family to make a big deal out of it.

9. Being late to the family thing

That look you get from your family. You know the one.

10. The extra cheerful smiles

You probably saw this gif coming.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
