The weeks after Thanksgiving break/before finals can be the worst. It's filled with Christmas joy yet so much pain because you are miserable with all the work you have to do. You don't know what to feel, you're having breakdowns, you are always tired, and if you think rest is an option, you are quickly reminded that it's not. These are some relatable thoughts/feelings that some have before finals.
1. Celebrating after finding out a final isn’t comprehensive.
2. When the professor expects you to complete three papers, five readings, a project, and get an A on the final and all you can think is...
3. When someone says they don’t like Christmas, and you can't afford to have that kind of negativity in your life.
4. When your computer crashes but you have 4 papers, and a project due along with finals to study for.
5. When you are able to squeeze in a Christmas movie or two between studying.
6. When you realize the study guide that you have to fill out is 10 pages long so you give up for the day.
7. When you call your parents to tell them how stressed you are and they give you the confidence boost you need.
8. When you thought you could cram for the final the night before, but before then it's 3 a.m. and you realize what you have done.
9. Thinking of what you could tell your parents if you mess up on finals.
10. When all you want to do is go home.
