The Weeknd just released his new album "My Dear Melancholy," and it is fire. You can tell by listening to the first song "Call Out My Name" that his heart is aching, and who broke it. It's obvious that he has a lot of thoughts and feelings about his breakups. He shares those with everyone with this entire album. What he sings about is so relatable to most people, the ones who have had their heart broken by someone they truly care for. Here are just some of the notable lyrics that can resonate with some:

1. "You gave me comfort, but falling for you was my mistake" ("Call Out My Name")

We all find comfort in the people we are dating. Unfortunately, some of us get too comfortable and we give that person the complete ability to hurt us. We can't help it, relationships are about trusting the other person to not hurt you. But, when the relationship does not work out for whatever reason, we instantly regret for letting ourselves fall for that person in the first place.

2. "Guess I was just another pitstop 'til you made up your mind" ("Call Out My Name")

Some breakups are messier than others. That person left you to be with someone else, or they had you convinced they were down for the long run, but they didn't mean that. Whatever the situation may be, the person who didn't see the breakup coming will more than likely feel like a "pitstop" or a temporary fling until the other person figured out what they really wanted.

3. "Once you put your pride aside, you can notify me" ("Try Me")

If you never got closure with your breakup, a part of you will wish for that. You will wish for that person to regret their actions, swallow their pride, and reach out to you. Some of us may never get that, but we can still wish for it.

4. "And even though you put my life through hell, I can't seem to forget 'bout you" ("Wasted Times")

Wouldn't life be so much easier if we're able to completely forget about the people who have hurt us? Forget about the pain they caused us, the tears we shed over them, and the self-doubt we put on ourselves. . . Time is really the only thing that can help with that process.

5. "When I shine, it won't matter" ("I Was Never There")

The immediate time after any break up will take some adjusting to. You are used to telling that person everything - your accomplishments and failures. When that person is not there anymore to console in, you begin to miss that. You may even begin to wonder "what is the point of 'shining' if the person you want to notice doesn't care?"

6. "We said our last goodbyes" ("Privilege")

The sad part about relationships, and life, in general, is that there comes a time when we say our last goodbyes. Willingly or not, saying goodbye to someone who you care for is going to hurt. Knowing that it's your last goodbye will hurt even more.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
