As someone who is engaged but also in college, it's hard to find time to plan a wedding, However, thanks to the magical thing that is the internet, I have found plenty of websites to help me plan my dream wedding, while still making time to do homework. Though there aren't many in a similar situation as mine, I figured that anyone of any age who is trying to plan a wedding could use some inspiration, thus here are five amazing websites that I have found useful for planning a wedding on a tight schedule.
1. Pinterest
This one seems obvious. Pinterest is every wedding planner's dream, as it's filled with pictures and ideas that seemingly never end. However, it still deserves recognition for how amazingly useful it is. It's nice to be able to just scroll through my app on the bus, pinning ideas that I find interesting, and then going back to look at them later when I have more time. Pinterest is the busy-bride-to-be's best friend, and if you don't already have an account then you should create one, because it's helpful and a lot of fun.
2. The Knot
If you're looking for actual concrete planning, and not just staring at pretty dresses and cakes, then The Knot is for you. From wedding registry, to vendors and budgeters and even your wedding website, The Knot has plenty of concrete help to get you down the aisle stress free. They even have an app that can serve as an excellent wedding checklist, with a countdown clock to your big day. What more could you want from a wedding website?
3. WeddingWire
Much like The Knot, WeddingWire is great for actual concrete planning, but what makes it even better is that it's more personalized to your location, and it even has forums for brides to be to talk to each other and to help plan each other's weddings. It's great for inspirations, advice, and finding the perfect wedding for you.
4. Minted
If you're looking to design invitations, save the dates or even your wedding website, Minted is the way to go. They have tons of designs from independent artists to choose from, and websites even have invitations and such to match. They also sell reception menus, place cards, and honestly anything that you can think.
