Dear victims of my resting b*tch face,
I’m sorry.
Although I may be coming off as stuck up, judgmental, mean, or you know, a b*tch, I’m actually really nice and accepting and I’m probably not judging you at all. It’s literally just my face.
There are certain people who have come to the conclusion that I don’t like them simply because the way I looked at them and came off as. I swear I have no problem with you, the problem just seems to come from myself.
I have seen other girls giving me the RBF and have left feeling uncomfortable by it myself, which is why I feel like I should throw out some reasons as to why I might be giving you the RBF.
One day, as I was sitting in my seat before class started, I caught myself staring at another girl walking in. She gave me a funny look and I knew she was caught off guard by the look I was giving her. The truth is I was concentrating, not on her, but on everything I had coming up that was due in all of my classes. I was overwhelmed. She caught my eye for some reason and I just stared at her thinking of everything else I had going on. I didn’t mean anything by it.
Sometimes, I’ll be walking through a store or a crowd of people and I’ll be giving everyone the RBF. I’m not doing this on purpose, I’m probably just annoyed at the amount of people or simply tired of walking around. If I’m at a store, I’m probably trying to remember everything I need to get because there’s no way I’m “adult” enough to make an actual list. I could as well be thinking about something totally different, which is the case for a lot of my RBF moments.
Another reason I might be giving someone the RBF is because I actually like their outfit. Contradicting…I know. I dress like a bum a lot of the time because I either sleep in or just don’t feel like putting effort into my look. So, when I see another girl dressed up fairly nice with noticeable effort put into her hair and makeup, I take extra time to admire it.
Needless to say, if you catch me staring or giving the RBF, I’m not trying to make you uncomfortable. You should either not think anything by it, or take it as a compliment because you caught my eye for some reason.
I’m sorry to all the people that have been victims of my RBF. I swear, you’re all innocent. I’m sorry to the one’s that think I don’t like them because of the way I have looked at them, and I’m sorry to all of the girls with cute outfits that have not been complimented by me because I was too busy thinking and admiring it in silence.
With that being said, there are probably a few people I give the RBF to and I actually mean it. I still don’t mean to make you all uncomfortable, but it’s out of my control once I see someone who I don’t particularly like. I just can’t always help it.
