I have gone through a lot in my eighteen years. There are many things that have molded me into who I am today. There is one huge problem I would love to solve. This one problem is what made me become vegan, animal cruelty. I became a vegan about freshman year of high school. I went to the vegan lifestyle for all the health benefits, and for the animals.
When I became vegan I realized that you don't need animals to make your taste buds water. Many people ask where we get our protein from, in reality its really not that hard to get protein without meat, going from eating meat and animal products to none is amazing. Animal Cruelty can be helped and solved one step at a time.
I would love to solve this problem of animals rights. This issue is greatly significant to me because the treatment of animals is extremely horrible, why am I going to eat something that went through torture just to satisfy my taste buds? Animals feel pain and have feelings... pigs, cows, chickens, and even fish, believe it or not.
Animals screech and cringe in fear. Its all due to fear. There are so many animals that rely on us because they can't do it on their own. They need help from us. They can not fend for themselves. I know that these animals are incredibly smart, but they still don't know what lies ahead: The Slaughter house and that's terrible.
These animals that go to these slaughterhouses try to screech and rebel to show they don't want to be there. The way these slaughterhouses treat these animals is so beyond ridiculous. We have laws against harming cats and dogs that live with us; so what's the difference with pigs, cows, chickens, and fish? There isn't. The way they kill these animals is so inhumane. I think that they should find a more humane way to kill these animals, and also the way they raise them.
Becoming a vegan has positively changed my life. The day I became a vegan was Easter of 2012. I saw all the meat on the big long brown table in front of me. It all hit me at once. the amount of animals that died just to give us this meal struck me hard. By one person becoming a vegan can save thirty-one animals a year. I have saved one hundred and fifty five animals in the past 5 that's an incredible feeling to know that I one person has the power to do. If I could get more people to become vegan, this world can be such a better place.
Me becoming a Vegan has solved this problem in a small way. If more people become vegan we can save so many more animals one person at a time. Becoming a vegan has made me more energized, happier and actually healthier. My choice to become vegan has been incredible knowing that I could save so many animals in the three years i've been vegan.
I would love to solve this problem because it's really not fair to the animals. Vegans and Vegetarians actually tend to live longer than most meat eaters. Cutting meat out of your diet and becoming a vegan, you will have lower blood pressure, a lower risk of death, better moods, a lower chance of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and being overweight. Honestly I wish I became a vegan much sooner.
Veganism can save thirty-one animals a year by ONE single person alone, so imagine if more of us joined. Animals are friends NOT food. These animals cry out for help, and we're all too blind to see what's actually going on. these animals need our help. We can solve this problem by not eating meat or so much of it. Animals are here WITH us. NOT for us. We're in this together.
