It's that time of the year again! Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and its just another one of those holidays where everything is aching to remind you that you're alone. But don't freak out--you're not alone! Here is a break down of the dreaded holiday as told by three single men.
When was the last time you had a valentine and what did you do?
Man A: Probably...actually I don't know. I actually haven't had one in a really long time. If anything, it would've been like eighth grade.
Man B: The last time I had a Valentine was last year. We didn't do anything alone, but we had breakfast with friends. Then we all hung out and watched movies. Welcome to Valentine's Day.
Man C: Never, this is my first one! I'm, unfortunately, not sought out by women, as I possess neither humor, beauty, nor personality.
What are your plans for this upcoming Valentine's day?
Man A: I don't have any yet, but probably work. It's pay day, so I guess I'll spend money. Maybe I'll find some other lonely single and hang out with them.
Man B: I'll probably sit down with a big bowl of self loathing and probably not have any interaction with anyone. No human interaction. Puppy interaction, yes!
Man C: I'm going to visit my valentine. Yes, I have a valentine! We are exchanging gifts and hanging out.
Valentine's Day or Singles Awareness Day?

Man B: Valentine's Day is for the happy half of the world. Singles Awareness Day for the rest of us. It would be great if we could all be happy and in relationships, but that's not how life works. So #SinglesAwareness
Man C: Ah, Valentine's Day. It isn't a day to cry about how unsuccessful you've been in love..You don't NEED a relationship, love exists in more than just significant others.
Your overall thoughts on Valentine's Day?

Man B: I feel like Valentine's Day is a Hallmark holiday. It's really a way for stores to get people to spend money on things they don't need. Does America really need more chocolate?
Man C: It's a great day! I'll enjoy it more when I'm married, most likely. I do think it deserves a little more respect and recognition though.
Finally, any messages/advice for the single guys and ladies out there this year?

Man B: You're single. I'm single. It's time to mingle. Not because I need a relationship, but because Valentine's Day is shorter to write than Singles Awareness Day. But really, I do need a date. In all reality, don't get too worked up over being alone.
Man C: Having a date doesn't particularly matter and even if you do or don't, you should never think badly upon yourself or your relationship status. Pucker up, treat yourself, watch a nice movie, and love yourself before anything else.
