As I've gotten older, this little piece of me has been growing. It pulls my attention away from work and productivity, dragging my attention to the promotions on the side of my internet browser; those little ads telling me that flights are on sale, that AirBnB is waiting for me, that it only costs $450 to go to Europe for spring break.
This is wanderlust, the never-ending desire to travel.
I get it from my mom.
12 Reasons You Should Travel With Your Mom
1. She'll never blow you off.
If your friends are being flaky about making SB plans, she's probably waiting patiently, knowing you'll ask her next.
2. You'll actually be classy about vacationing.

She will be brutally honest about everything you try on, making sure you get nothing but the best of the best.
Did I mention she'll probably pay?
4. No moment will go un-photographed.
We have matching pics of everything, and they're so cute.
5. Sometimes, she's got a few tricks up her sleeve.
It will make your trip all the more fun, not to mention practical.
Plus, how cool is it to learn new things about each other?
6. She'll take you to the best places.
You'll be repeatedly asking yourself, Is this heaven?

Let's face it, your friends would not be able to keep up with your constant food cravings.
8. She can drive a stick-shift.
You make the perfect co-piloting team. Not to mention how good you are at DJ'ing /changing the radio station.
9. She knows what you like.
Not one moment will be wasted. You have enough in common that you'll both enjoy the same activities.
10. She'll actually take good pictures of you.
I always tell my mom that I'll report any ugly pictures she posts of me on facebook, so she takes as many as she needs until I approve of one. (Instagram, here I come!)
11. Snuggles!
Whether you've each got a california king bed or you're budgeting to share a single room, there's nothing like cozying up to your mom and watching a movie.
12. She's an amazing planner...
...so go book that trip!
