Now he is running around the streets of New York City frantically trying to find a piece of jewelry that shows he loves her, but yet he doesn't be her want her to think engagement is coming up so it can't be too expensive. He also is on the verge of crying because he realizes that the only place they can eat is going to be Shake Shack.

The girl who could care less about Valentine's Day

She could care less about Valentine's Day. She doesn't hate it but just doesn't get it. She laughs, "Why celebrate your love with someone just one day a year?" She looks forward to spending the night in her tiny studio apartment with a sheet mask on and feet in a personal foot bath. She wants to finally start "You" and order in food from her favorite Mexican restaurant around the corner. She also got a 6 pack of black cherry white claws and cannot wait to just be peaceful and content in her own home. She might also take a gander at Instagram to make fun of all the couples she knows are faking being in love.

The cocky guy who has Valentine's Day down to science

This guy has everything down pact. He made the dinner reservation over a month ago at the place his partner has been saying they've been dying to go to. He got the perfect present that is matched with an abundant bouquet of flowers and a card that is sure to make his partner cry. He made sure he actually cleaned the sheets to his bed and even set up some flower petals around his apartment. He's even been asking people if they have Valentine's Day plans just so they can ask back and he can brag. Yeah... he's that guy.

The girl who is finally spending Valentine's Day with someone

She had her heart broken numerous times and somehow, in all the relationships she had, never had a valentine. But this is her year and she is finally in a stable relationship. She has a countdown app on her phone that has been counting the days down from Christmas to Valentine's day. At her office, she has a jar of red and pink M&Ms and has been wearing a heart bandana for about a week up to the special day. She makes sure to tell everyone that her oh-so-amazing boyfriend has been working tirelessly to get her a special gift. And yes, she does make you want to ripe your hair out when she speaks.

The guy who thinks he can pick someone up at the bar

Ah yes, the classic guy who thinks there are a ton of people just desperately waiting for him to swoop them off into the night because they are lonely on the one day of the year we celebrate love. He goes bar hopping and acts way too confident. He gets really drunk and his compliments continue to flop. He winds up throwing all four gin and tonics in the bathroom and has to leave by 12, alone. In fact, the only person who gives him any attention that night is the Uber driver.

The person who is happy because this is their first Valentine's Day outwardly part of the LGBTQ+ community

Valentine's Day used to be hard for them. They had to watch people celebrate love and yet, they themselves could not even say who they loved. After years of struggling, they finally were open about their sexual orientation. This holiday is now special for them because they can truly celebrate the type of people they love.

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
