Amanda Marvin is originally from Austin, Texas. She chose to leave the comfort of her hometown to better educate herself in professional journalism and storytelling. With prior experience at Phoenix, Arizona's local CW television station as a broadcast intern, she is currently interning at ASU Video Production in Tempe. After spending a semester producing for Arizona PBS's "Catalyst", Amanda has shifted her focus from reporting to creating long-form stories of human interest. She currently attends the Walter Cronkite school of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University as a full-time student. Amanda's focus is broadcast journalism with a minor in music. Some interests Amanda has are: music journalism, piano, poetry, videography, photography and social media.
