The view of the sunset is one that gives the heart and soul a very soothing peace of mind. The solar rays of the sun radiate in a plethora of ways, leaving us with a wellspring of positivity and enchantment. It provides us with the light that we sometimes lose touch of while walking amidst patches of darkness and despair.

Psychological studies have proven that a picturesque view of such a serene landscape will induce exuberant amounts of mindfulness, appreciation towards the delicate little things in life, and increased satisfaction in life. To illustrate this revelation, Dr. Jia Wei Zhang of the University of California, Berkeley explains how engagement with natural beauty moderates the positive relation between connectedness with nature and physiological well-being.

The sunset is merely just a medium in which you can seek internal optimistic vibes. In reality, any type of connection with the aesthetics of life such as paintings, music, or dance will leave you feeling more relaxed. As a matter of fact, finding the beauty of nature will release an elixir of illuminated brightness in your life enabling you to articulate the serenity of nature's delight.

According to author Linda Wasmer Andrews, "There's a natural tendency to stop and stare at a breathtaking sunset. When you do so, you're likely to be caught up in the moment, and your mind gets a break from fretting over the past or worrying about the future." In other words, it is as if you are frozen in time just simply staring at the blazing eye-catching sun in order to get immersed in its burning luminosity. Just one glimpse of the sunset will instantaneously rid you of all your worries and make you want to dance your troubles away. Such is the tenacity of this megastar which can cause the chordae tendineae to twinkle as well.

Being surrounded by nature will elicit a chain of magical feelings like no other. Observing the sunset and songbirds will make you want to sing with them and embrace the uplifting spirits of love and tranquility. You will start paying close attention to the subtle little parts of everyday life and learn to understand their worth. In essence, nature stimulates bundles of happiness and photons of light leading to the metamorphosis of us ultimately donning the persona of a psychedelic butterfly.

As an avid nature lover, I enjoy taking long rhythmic walks across the beach waiting impatiently for the astounding glimpse of sunset along with the melodious chirping of birds. I'm sure you will too! Exploring nature's pulchritudinous delights and embarking upon the quest of connecting with the sublime energies of nature will result in a totally enriched soul. So will the resplendent beauty of catching a sight of nature's finest sunset.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
