The fall season is sneaking up closer than we think and soon we will be shopping for school or work and getting ready for those autumn months ahead. It's important to keep in mind what is trending in advance so you know what pieces to look for and add to your fall wardrobe.
First off, believe it or not, but the bling is back! After a season of oversized, bulky necklaces, we are heading back to the direction of feminine, sparkly jewelry and oversized earnings.
Loafers and even Men's dress shoes made for women, are coming back in a full swing. This coming season designers are showing that you don't need sky-high heels to make an outfit look good with loafers that have what is called a "stacked kitten" heel. That's right ladies, it's finally time to be comfortable and stylish.
Pleated skirts are also in style for the fall 2015 season. Fabrics trending for the fall season such as suede and velvet will be making appearances on many pleated skirts, and even tops and dresses.
Black leather mini skirts, suede mini skirts, and velvet mini skirts are also in this fall. Fashion is getting more comfortable with showing off legs with a raised hemline to create a youthful and flattering silhouette.
With the skirt look, comes the trend of tights, which had a major place on runways to create edgy or retro looks with rips or different patterns.
Chic black booties ready for any winter storm are also going to be in this fall. Designers luckily seem to be reacting to the winter we've had this past year and designing chic, winter-wear-ready boots for this season in black that will match with any outfit.
Over-the-knee boots are also back in full bloom that go really high up. The look of having really long, slim legs is in. Some boots go so high up they look like leather pants. You're going to see a lot of over-the-knee boots not just in black leather but also in suede with a chunky heel. If you want to look in style this season, you're going to need a pair of these boots.
The grey on grey suit look is making a chic appearance. Designers everywhere are making an all-grey suit one of the styling trends this fall.
The high-waisted look isn't going away either. Pants this fall are climbing way far past up the belly button for a slimming, flattering look. With this, cropped sweaters and long-sleeve shirts will also be in making a lot of appearances.
Jumpsuits aren't going away either and are staying around with fall colors and fabrics. Dark olive, camel, shades of brown, grey, and black are the hot colors for the fall that you'll see on long-pant jumpsuits and fall pieces.
Simple plaid is also in, particularly red plaid like a tartan print. As black seems to be an occurring trend for the fall, the red adds an interesting pop of color in the plaid design whether its a jacket, skirt or top.
Fun colored faux fur coats and jackets are also an upcoming trend. These faux furs for the fall channel a fun, young look from neutral colors to vibrant palettes.
So now that you know some of the trends, feel free to get started on your fall wardrobe while you enjoy the rest of your summer. Happy shopping!
