I am a newly single, happy, energetic, freshman in college. I thought that I had it figured out but I guess the Lord had a different plan… Though I have no man in my sights, and marriage is aways away, these are the vows that I vow to follow until my last breath.

I vow to stay beside you through the good and the bad. I promise to stand firmly behind the choices you make and support you full heartedly.

I vow to always be the pillow that you use to cover your face with during a scary movie, as long as I get cuddles in return.

I vow to not fight with you (or your family) and to make you love me more and more every day.

I vow to kiss you and love on you every night, and to show our kids exactly how a mama should love them, just like mine did,

I vow to always be the harmony to your song of life.

I vow to show you how a good wife should treat you because I know how good you have and will treat me in the many years that lie ahead.

I vow to make you soup whenever you feel sick and take care of you until you feel better.

I vow to stay up late talking about our future and what we want to do with it.

Lastly, I vow to be all you have ever wanted and more and to always keep you in line. I will love you until my last breath. Let’s grow old.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
