We live where you vacation.

University of Tampa As Told By Urban Dictionary

1. Hojo: The hojo refers to the Barrymore Hotel located downtown. The hotel used to be a Howard Johnson which is where "hojo" came to be. Believe it or not, the Barrymore is actually a residence hall for underclassmen. As a result of the new housing rules, you will be seeing a lot more Juniors and Seniors beginning Fall 2016.

2. Stadium: Also known as Frank and Carol Morsani Hall.

3. Cass Bar: Now known as The Station and is within walking distance from campus.

4. The Outpost: A bar located On West Kennedy (practically on campus). Go for karaoke on Tuesday nights!

5. Soho: Soho is short for South Howard which is a street with an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops.

6. West Kennedy: Now known as Howard and Patricia Jenkins Hall and is a residence hall for students.

7. Labreti: Make a trip to Pandini's on campus to find out for yourself.

8. Tic Toc Tuesday: Drink specials at The Station on (you guessed it)Tuesday nights!

9. House Party: Unfortunately this is not the type of house party Sam Hunt is talking about. They are typically in a dingy house located off of Willow or Cass street. You better get there on time before it gets rolled.

10. Laser Team: "Let's just call laser team" is a phrase often said by students that are too lazy to make the 5 minute hike from the Library to Vaughn.

11. Plant Park: Yes, our school has a waterfront park that overlooks downtown Tampa and you have the right to be jealous. Students can typically be found basking in the sun between classes or studying with a view.

12. Dollar Beers: If you're relevant you go to dollar beers on Thursday's at MacDinton's. You also won't break the bank after a night out drinking because beer is only $1.00.

13. Green Lemon: Fishbowl margaritas, anyone?

14. HPC: Short for Hyde Park Cafe and is known for their happy hour on Friday nights. Watch out for the middle bar where you're guaranteed to get a whiff of puke.

15. Caddy's: No Friday classes? You're probably at Caddy's. Located in Treasure Island, Caddy's On The Beach is famous for their Rum Runners and brief appearance in "Magic Mike".

16. New York New York: A place in SOHO where you can find drunken college students devouring New York style pizza by the slice at 2:00 a.m. after a night out.

17: The Drynk: A club where pretty much every freshman is guaranteed to be seen.

18. On time: "I have five minutes to get to class" means you'll probably still be early because campus isn't that big.

19. Starbucks: Be prepared to see everyone you know while waiting 30 minutes for your Pumpkin Spice Latte.

20. Gasparilla: A Giant pirate invasion that takes place the last weekend in January. All of Tampa Bay takes over Bayshore Boulevard and celebrates the legendary Jose Gaspar with beads, booze and a parade. Pre-gaming begins at 10:00am and ends when you pass out.

21. Football: You may find us attending a Tampa Bay Buccaneers or USF game since UT does not have a football team.

22. Wet Willies: No, it's not licking your finger and putting it in someone else's ear. In fact, Wet Willies is located in Channelside and serves almost every flavor of alcoholic slushies.

23. "Vintage" or "The Lofts": refers to The Vintage Loft apartments located less than a mile from campus. Chances are the few students you know that moved off campus live here.

24. Plant Hall: Former hotel turned into the first and most beautiful building at UT.

25. Graduation: Something that comes way too soon here in paradise.

26. University of Tampa: The best college.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
